Geumson Designs is a design and marketing business in Germany that specializes in brand identity from logo design to website design. It is currently owned by Stephanie, catering to small businesses to help them get their feet on the ground running. Stephanie’s designs are handcrafted to each of her client’s needs to help create a design that is meaningful and ensures to last time after time.

how it started

Hello! My name is Stephanie!

I’m the designer behind Geumson Designs. I am a Korean-American who has lived all over the world. I started creating art as a child and knew it was my passion. I started taking art classes in high school (FUN FACT: I’ve actually been using Adobe products since I was 14!) which furthers my skills into college. The problem I ran into was not knowing what careers were available for artists who actually made decent money. So I continued with my degree and graduated with a degree in studio art which included drawing, painting, sculpture, and a bit of design.

As I progressed into my life, I landed a full-time job at a Parks and Recreation Department, my artistic and graphic design skills were valued here since our budget was quite limited. This eventually landed the role of Marketing Supervisor. After working there for over 7 years, I decided to move out of expensive California to South Korea to be closer to family and friends. In South Korea, I taught English for a bit, worked as a Marketing and Design professional for a start-up in South Korea, and eventually went into Freelancing. I met my now husband in South Korea, where I moved to Germany on a visa to build my Graphic Design business as a freelancer.

I’ve created everything from posters, flyers, car wraps, logos, branding, and websites which brings me here. I’ve decided to build my brand and business by offering services to small businesses that need direction. It’s my goal to create something that you love!
